TRUSS DESIGN
My group and I had to build two trusses (truss 1 is on the right/ truss 2 is on the left in the picture above). The two trusses are different in shape, size and weight. We had to test how much force could be applied before the truss broke to then find out the efficiency.

Conclusion Questions
a. I think that the failure happened at the place it happened on both trusses because it was were two pieces were glued together and there was no support under where the two pieces meet to help it with the force. There fore since there was no support there and the force was being applied to the part were two pieces were put together that is why the truss failed at this member and the reason why the force being applied at those points made a difference.
b. If I was given a chance to redesign my truss after testing, I would change/add a few things. First I would put more support were the force is going to be applied, also I might of even added a couple pin joints. I could of also could of put more glue, even though that's not going to help a lot, it will still help a little.
